Way back in 2012, I had just “given my life to Christ” for the last time of many. It wasn’t an altar call (I’d shown up to several).
I wasn’t outright an unbeliever (God and God-knowledge had been a huge part of my life both as background and as literal source of encouragement, sanity and clarity through murky times.)
This time He had me, and I was going nowhere. God was really helping my life, in and out of many seasons with tangible results. I had many friends going through their own phases and countless stories of hopelessness bear and far.
If God was helping my life He sure could help the next person.
I decided of my own accord to use this gift to share with the world my testimony. It was never about evangelism. I didn’t hear a voice from heaven.
I just had a dope gift and I was sure as heaven and earth going to use it to help others find hope and rest and all they needed to keep mind, spirit and body together as they waited on God and pushed hard through life.
It’s been over 10 years of hard grind from “studio loitering to studio assistant at 3 different recording studios, to writing hooks and whole songs for all forms of artists...
... to being featured on hooks in Surulere — all at age 16. It’s been 8 Active years of releasing music for You.
