I read this last night, and thought of it again this morning as my wife got out of bed at about 5:45 am to go to work as a nurse in a hospital. 
I know she’s worried, about her patients, her co-workers, our family, and her own health — though she tries to show none of it to me or the kids. If you’re at all religious say a prayer for her and the countless other healthcare professionals leaving their families to face this
Even if you’re not then, still please take a moment to keep them in your thoughts and maybe reach out to any nurse/doctor/nurses aid/radiology tech/etc and let them know you appreciate them and are thinking of them.
They don’t have a choice to stay home, heed the advice to “flatten the curve”. They have to leave their families to face what comes for all of us. It’s their duty. You can honor that by just staying home. You’re doing it protect them, protect my wife, protect someone’s loved one
I am religious, I do have faith in a God that is real and works through these heroes. I pray that He gives them strength and protects them so that they may heal and comfort the afflicted, and come home safe and healthy.
We can all do our part. I beg you to do yours.
