Said before, but worth repeating: $TSLA is presently worth $95 billion, down from over $160 billion. Right now, it produces no cars. Its accounting is fraudulent. Its CEO is a public health menace and engages in criminal conduct routinely. And it is not manufacturing ventilators.
The solar division, formerly SolarCity, was acquired to bail out the CEO's family. Unsealing documents proving this led the CEO to lash out at us and @Russ1Mitchell. Solar Roof 3.0 turned out to be made in Changzhou, China. The Buffalo assembly line is boxed up in a NY warehouse.
The launch of Solar Roof 3.0 was timed to the minute to distract from the bailout documents. $TSLA then updated its app to literally steal money in the form of non-refundable "upgrades" from unsuspecting customers. It buys its own cars worldwide at end-of-quarter to pump numbers.
Before requiring employees to gather en masse in violation of the law during a pandemic, it required its on-site medical staff to refuse medical treatment to injured employees. And to refuse ambulances to those in need of hospitalization, like the one who nearly burned to death.
The CEO, a narcissistic sociopath just like Donald Trump (who would have as many bankruptcies were it not for serial investor bailouts enabled by a gullible press) retaliates against all critics. He tried to have a whistleblower criminally prosecuted and framed for gun violence.
COVID-19 is the most pressing issue we face today as a society. But we would be in a position to fight it far more effectively if tax money had been properly allocated to public safety. $TSLA's CEO alone has robbed states of $1.3 billion+. Billionaires are the root problem here.
