Perhaps the reason the world is drowning in fraud is that it's rewarded at the major "auditing" firms, including @PWC, while honesty is punished.

@PwC This man has been disciplined by the Securities and Exchange Commission (plainsite.org/dockets/downlo…) *and* the California Board of Accountancy (dca.ca.gov/cba/discipline…). Yet somehow he STILL WORKS FOR @PwC, which tried to keep it secret in court.

Probably just an HR oversight.
He's not even the only one. Of course, the formidable @retheauditors was on this long ago.

@laphroaiganddew @Keubiko One of the top corporate law firms in the U.S. quit on the $TSLA Board six days after the November 5 request. No one replaced them. The Board had previously negotiated to have until the 27th to file objections to the redactions being lifted. The remaining lawyers filed nothing.

New: In response to a prior PRA request, CAEATFA *also* forgot to delete $TSLA's projected delivery numbers as of December 2017. They're consistent with the 2019 figures. And we know exactly who worked on them. plainsite.org/documents/1ew8…
The metadata from the 2019 files indicates that they were authored by Blue Sky Consulting Group. The metadata from the late 2017 spreadsheets (obtained in 2018) indicates that they were authored by Joel Schwartz—presumably, the one who works at Blue Sky. blueskyconsultinggroup.com/joel-schwartz/
This raises a number of questions about $TSLA's relationship with Blue Sky, how Mr. Schwartz arrived at these numbers, and exactly what it means that Tesla Finance Director Danielle Matsumoto "owned" or "owns" them. Ownership suggests responsibility.

For those just finding this, Elon Musk proceeded to have $TSLA sue this whistleblower in federal court for $167 million. Now Musk is making it difficult for Tripp to depose him. He's one of nearly a dozen known critics Musk has abused and harassed. plainsite.org/dockets/3br5tk…

Okay, this would probably be more resonant if I did it closer to Good Friday, but on the off chance that I have any significant number of Christian religious professionals/educators following me, let's talk about making Good Friday less antisemitic. (Thread.)
Because here's the thing: if you DON'T think carefully about how you're conducting your Good Friday stuff, especially if you're doing a Passion Play, it's probably directing at least tacit anti-Jewish sentiment from the pulpit to the pew.
Jesus is recorded as saying some pretty stern stuff to his fellow Jews, and that's one thing when it's coming from a member of a group, directed at other members of the group. But the gospels aren't part of the Jewish canon. They're the canon of a non-Jewish religion.
