VIRAL CYTOKINE STORMS IN HIV & COVID-19; RENAL & CV CONSEQUENCES. The evidence for these phenomena is presented within this thread.
Hypertension, Heart Attacks, & Arterial Thromboses are common in COVID-19 mortalities. People who are hypertensive prior to caronavirus infection are at greater risk for mortality. Hypertensive cardiovascular disease is known to be an inflammatory process.
Amongst persons with hypertension, immediate drivers of this disorder are salt & Angiotensin II (AT-II) secreted by kidney. In brain, AT-II induces super oxygen free radicals that damage blood peptides & create antigens foreign to humans.
Within brain tissue, dendritic cells process & present these antigens to T-cells, & immune system inflammatory products & processes ensue.
In peripheral blood, T-cell lymphocytes, alerted by macrophages presenting antigen cell receptor ligands in increased amounts, foment a cytokine storm (including IL-17a, TNF-alpha, INF-gamma, & IL-6).
The cytokine storm, incited by free radicals, magnify the inflammatory responses. (Reference: Nguyen, Cardiovascular Res., 2013; 97: 696-704).
Immune system depression caused by viral infections of HIV & COVID-19 are similarly accompanied by cytotokine storms of small molecules that hyper-drive the humoral immune system.

Cytotoxic storms, unfolding as vasculitis in cardiac & renal tissues, incite tissue damage, vasculitis, cardiac myositis, arterial thrombosis, & hemodynamics of uncontrolled hypertension, heart attacks, heart failure, & death.
All these dynamics of deranged cardiovascular functions occur in uncontrolled hypertension & in HIV & CONVID-19 infections.
Immune system weakened responses to foreign infecting microbes is known to be escalated by excess sugars & associated insulin resistance, i.e., Type-2 Diabetes. (Reference: Immunology frontiersin.org/article/10.33..).
The message is to decrease salt & sugar intake, control hypertension, lose weight with an high fat low carbohydrate diet, and avoid HIV & COVID-19 viruses by social distancing.
An interesting therapeutic hypothesis, not predicted to be well received by the Orthodox Medical Community, would be to treat with homeopathic remedies of killed viral antigens and select cytokines.
In past years, I discovered that the Similimum for HIV was Typhoidinium (published in my book, “Healing AIDS Naturally, Natural Therapies for the Immune System”, 1986).
I am on the lookout for the Similimum for COVID-19. These are concepts and therapeutic ideas anathema to orthodox physicians, who are generally ignorant of the underlying science in any case.
