Hey, folks. If you look really really not very closely at all but actually quite casually, you can see the Zoom ID for the Cabinet meeting plain as daylight in this fantastic photo.

I wonder if the Prime Minister should report himself to the ICO for severe privacy violation? 😉
And here it is again, for posterity, since I assume the original will be going away any time now. (I've doctored it of course - *I* am not an idiot)
Other things to notice...
- Press team is CCed in on Cabinet level meetings
- "iPhone" listed at bottom of participants, but not on screen. Cummings?!

On 12 March, Boris Johnson warned "I must level with the British public: many more families are going to lose loved ones before their time."

But the Cheltenham Festival went ahead, as did countless other events. Lockdown came days later.
Even when he started clamping down, Boris Johnson gave wishy-washy, conflicting information.

Many people believe the Government *still* haven't tightened the definition of who is really an "essential worker" enough.

Meanwhile, Ministers line up daily to lie about testing & PPE.
It is a testament to the effectiveness of the brainwashing by the tabloid gutter press that more people than not seem to think Boris Johnson's doing a good job.

The entire nation should be supernova incandescent with rage at his historic failure of leadership and imagination.

The same people who claim that the rest of the world will suffer more from Brexit than the UK will are now telling us the UK is weathering the coronavirus crisis better than the rest of the world. 🤔 😬 😱
We may have the best health service (the effort it's exerting is superhuman) but it's certainly not led by the best politicians, provided with the best resources, or offered the best funding. All three of the latter are sub-standard, and inadequate for the challenge at hand.
One key problem is that, for decades, Tories have measured the "worth" of a job by the size of the salary it attracts. In their mentality, lower paid roles can't possibly be important.

That's why they fawn all over bankers, let the care sector crumble, and underfund the NHS.

Under-discussed in the coronavirus bigger picture is the fact that so many huge events have been cancelled in the UK & further afield. Not just current ones, but months or even half a year or more in the future.

All that will have an economic cost, even if impact's not felt yet.
In other words, many companies may struggle but survive for the next few weeks or months, but that *essential* event (at which they make much of their real money for the year) won't happen this time around and so they'll get into difficulty at that point.
But that could happen even *after* we get out of the worst restrictions imposed by the fight against the virus.

Say for sake of argument the lockdown is lifted in July. Government help might cease shortly after. But firms could still be nobbled by missing events later in 2020.

First, I would like to commend @RonOrrMLA. He has definitely tried to dig into this complex and multifaceted issue. I am not being facetious. He has dug in deeper than most MLAs. I do need him to engage in some critical thinking and challenge Travis occasionally. #getthehistory
Ron should be concerned about re-electability. These pension changes are abusive in nature. You will please note that he does not comment on the wider changes to other public sector plans. I think police officers, fire fighters and others should communicate with Ron.

Each year I am hired to go to Washington, DC, with the eighth grade class from Clinton, WI where I grew up, to videotape their trip. I greatly enjoy visiting our nation's capital, and each year I take some special memories back with me.

Hey folks, I want you all to pay very close attention to the "rapid onset gender dysphoria" hoax being perpetuated by TERFs and their evangelical handlers, because it is a roadmap to enacting Section 28 or Russia-style laws against the "promotion" of LGBT lifestyles to children.
What this fraudulent diagnosis claims, is that children suddenly become trans merely by being exposed to information about trans people, or trans people themselves. The proponents of this hoax use some very dangerous language like "social contagion" to describe trans identities.
They make extremely spurious claims that children are identifying as trans in "clusters" and that autistic children are mistakenly believing they're trans (there's a whole other layer of ableism there that could be it's own thread), as well as saying teens are pressured into it.
