1) How to cope with the pandemic in five easy steps. First, let's step inside your head. What really matters to you about how to respond to the pandemic? What are the values and emotions you want to preserve? Perhaps what you think looks like this. 
2) Now let's step into the outside world. What should you be doing to live in line with the values you just expressed. How would you act on your beliefs and values? Perhaps your thoughts look something like this.
3) Now let's step back inside your head. What thoughts and feelings show up as obstacles to acting upon your valued goals? Perhaps they look something like this.
4) Now back to the outside world. How do those mental obstacles manifest as behaviors that take you away from your valued goals? Something like this?
5) Now imagine seeing your world through the lens of these reflections, accepting the existence of the "away" thoughts and actions but committing to working around them to dwell in the "toward" zone. This can be enormously therapeutic, not only for individuals but for groups.
