Tue. 7th was #WorldHealthDay and @NigeriaGov is fighting to secure national health and security. I visited @FollowLaSG, with #PTFCOVID19, to inspect response preparedness. @JideSanwoOlu is an exemplary incident commander and @LSMoH has met the #COVID19 response commendably 
On Wed. 8th, on behalf of @NigeriaGov, I received generous donations from @OfficialMESL: medical equipment, PPE, generator and accommodation for #healthworkers in UATH and Minna Isolation Centre @NigerStateNG...
...& from CCECC: medical supplies & equipment of over ₦500m, incl. 50 ventilators, an ECMO machine, & 15 medical personnel. While in isolation, our medical professionals will begin virtual learning from these public health experts who have successfully managed #COVID19 in China
@FMoHNigeria also engaged @AGPMPNDoctors and the Guild of Medical Directors, to discuss the role of private facilities in #COVID19Nigeria response and to emphasise the required accreditation before attempting #COVID19 treatment in their facilities
The @WHO virtual Weekly Information Session on #COVID19, on Thu. 9th, ensures that @FMoHNigeria has the latest global information on #COVID19, and the #PTFCOVID19 meeting with the National Assembly highlighted some opportunities for development of the health sector in #Nigeria
On #GoodFriday, 10th Apr., the #PTFCOVID19 updated @MBuhari on the response so far. @FMoHNigeria was pleased to receive a donation from JOHESU (@NigeriaNUAHP) in support of the #COVID19 effort, thank you for the solidarity in this natl. emergency response
I met the Chairs of Senate & House C‘ttees on Health, Dr. Oloriegbe (@Official_IYO) & (rep. by) Dr. Mshelia, & @NMANigeria on Sat. 11th Apr., @FMoHNigeria looks forward to more collaboration. On @ChannelsTV news at 10, I cautioned #Nigerians against trivialising #COVID19
Yesterday, #EasterSunday, I inspected the additional isolation & treatment centres accredited for #COVID19. @FMoHNigeria now has over 600 beds for #COVID19 in Abuja, more soon from @OfficialFCTA. @NCDCGov activated 2 more labs for #COVID19 in Jos and Kano, now a total of 11
