Theming Strategies:

#AI theming - helps you understand the big picture (quickly)

Emergent theming - essentially allowing participants to drive your theming strategy, driven by thoughts shared

Targeted Theming - Action-oriented. Strategic. Highlight key concepts/key actions ⤵️

Theming large volume exchanges: (This could mean hundreds or tens of thousands)
PLAN - Who needs to be involved?
THEME - #AI and manual theming
SHARE RESULTS - VERY important. Closing the loop!
LOTS of data? You may want multiple theme sets

Looking at our Discover Dashboard (where the magic happens!) This is from a large exchange (Education). Class size was a large theme (1st picture) however it was only the 3rd largest theme of the whole exchange (2nd picture). Different views show different themes and priorities.

Emergent theming - Based on what has come up in the exchange. You can go into theming - go to NEW to create a new theme. Teala is showing us how to set up our own themes and how to manage them. They can be edited at any time. Click on thoughts and categorize them into themes.

Theming isn't the only thing that gives you insight but it's a great place to start! #AI (artificial intelligence) gives you the big picture. Tools like "differences" and "heat maps" can be a helpful way to look deeper into the conversation. #TeVirtualEvents #TeVE #TeMasterClass

BARS - You can choose the themes that show up in your bar charts. You can create multiple summary reports which is very powerful when you think about the audience for that particular report and what information they want to see. #TeMasterClass #TeVE
