The farm focuses on growing, blending and distributing high quality indigenous botanical herbs as tea products and other crops like cashew nut trees, maize and cassava. The botanical herbs are indigenous to Nigeria.
#TheAfricanFarmersStories
The tea products are presented as natural remedies for wellness transformation in the form of herbal tea, grown along with over 1000 cashew trees on the 200-hectare Gaiafarm land owned by Rashidat & spouse, located in Ijale-Orile, Ogun State, #Nigeria
#TheAfricanFarmersStories
The constituents of the herbal teas are well-researched. Rashidat has a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science. She has worked with the National Health Service (NHS) and with a leading pharmaceutical company in the United Kingdom.
#TheAfricanFarmersStories
While working in the UK pharmaceutical company, Rashidat was involved in oncology & pediatrics clinical trials using complementary therapy to improve the quality of life for seriously ill patients through symptoms management in the UK.
#TheAfricanFarmersStories
Rashidat Raji-Siwoku has also, completed the Tea Champion Course, a two-day Tea Sensory and Practical Course from the UK Tea Academy classroom.
#TheAfricanFarmersStories
Her journey into phyto-medicine using botanical herbs as natural remedies comes from personal and painful experience with using prescriptive pain relief medication. The painful experience fueled her search for an all-natural solution to relieving pain.
#TheAfricanFarmersStories
In line with her personal & professional experiences & educational background, she continues to contribute
to the UN #SDGs in the area of good health and wellbeing for people using the farm’s herbal teas in collaboration with medical professionals.
#TheAfricanFarmersStories
Rashidat is a qualified ISO 14001 EMS Lead Auditor & is committed to fulfilling the UN #SDGs through her on-going projects & her tea products. The farm is powered with solar energy rather than hydrocarbon to preserve the environment.

The packaging of the products are also environmentally-friendly & biodegradable. The products are: alkaline tea powerful turmeric; spicy ginger and festive hibiscus.
