2/6 Canadians have made many sacrifices. I’m thankful to the great majority who continue to follow #publichealth practices, incl. wearing a non-medical mask/facial covering in indoor public spaces & when #PhysicalDistancing is difficult.
3/6 Dealing with the adaptations and uncertainties of an emerging disease event on this scale has been difficult, to say the least, but the stakes are high and we must take an approach informed by the best available #science and evidence.
4/6 While some decisions have to be made when the evidence is incomplete, we must remain open to all lines of inquiry, carefully gather the evidence, and adapt our #COVID19 approaches as the science evolves.
5/6 For some people, change won’t be quick enough, for others it will be too quick, or not convincing enough. Everyone will have questions, some more than others. This is perfectly acceptable and there are no wrong questions. #COVID19
6/6 Questions are healthy; they challenge us to think things over from many perspectives to reach conclusions that can stand up to healthy scrutiny. We all need to scrutinise what we read, hear and decide to share. #infodemic #GetTheFacts
