Any proposal by govt to substitute a judicial determination of genocide for one by @CommonsForeign is circular. The Committee *already* has that power, it has used it before & been ignored. The long-standing govt position is a court determination is required. 
The govt has been given the opportunity to create a credible legal mechanism to put meaningful weight behind the intention of #NeverAgain, & to enable it to take steps to comply with obligations in int’l law.
It should be engaging positively, openly with the
