PREVENTABLE causes of Maternal mortality & AKI are still common -
⚠️unsafe abortions

👉 Early ANC registration/reg checkup
👉 Timely nephrology referral
12/17 Solutions: Optimizing #Peripartum care is the key to ensure the health of subsequent generations.
#Healthy mothers give birth to healthy individuals
13/17 Solutions: Regular screening of high-risk groups [HTN, DM, lupus, other autoimmune diseases, HBV, HCV, HIV, urinary tract abnormalities] for evidence of #CKD and early referral to nephrologists.

🤫DO NOT hesitate to openly discuss sexual problems.

They are common and also treatable. ✌️
Every effort should be made to stop the “FAILURE SPEAK”👇
15/17 Solutions: Kidney donation by men should be encouraged. #kidneymyths around donation should be eliminated
16/17 Solutions: Lack of access to healthcare for #Women with #CKD must be addressed at individual, institutional, & administrative policies level.
17/17 Together we all can make the world a better place for #Women with #Chronic kidney disease.
