I don't know why @VICENews removed #Hamas leader Sinwar interview with @HindHassanNews. I've got clips of the video uploaded
First clip - Sinwar admitting he miscalculated Israel's response to his orders to "send a message" by attacking Jerusalem with rockets.

Here's where Sinwar says the war will continue forever, in an endless battle, because Israel exists. Says the people deserve peace (doesn't say how or what he's willing to do for it), blame the world for not stopping Israel (following Hamas miscalculated attack on Jerusalem)

When asked about Hamas war crimes for attacking Israeli civilians he basically says - "I came to a gunfight with a knife". Lies about Israel intentionally bombing children and women and says that if he had advanced weapons he wouldn't have bombed Israeli cities.

I've been asked by several friends what I think of the government communication strategy & activity of the #COVID19 #Crisis in #Israel.
I'll begin by saying that I believe that @netanyahu @moshebst & @IsraelMOH are really busy trying to save lives. Here we go.. Thread 1/
Any crisis communication plan needs to be based on four core elements: preparedness, strategy, execution, and evaluation. I'll try and give my two pence, based on my experience as an @IDF spokesperson in times of crisis. 2/
Preparedness is critical for #crisis comms. It places processes prior to the crisis, it determines who makes decisions when there is an internal conflict, it allocates resources for management, it mitigates the element of surprise, it makes sure everyone's on the same page. 3/

Analysis on #Gaza - #Israel situation:
1. Yesterday's violent cross-border riots were planned to escalate the situation. They resulted in 2 Palestinian deaths.
2. #Hamas proved it controls the extent of the riots after the last round.

3. Hamas is attempting to draw #Israel into a higher level of friction in order to increase its gains from the negotiations.
4. It's failures of the last year, civilian strife that continues, rift with the PA and the internal political pressures remain its core interest --->
5. #Israel is at a turning point after shots fired and wounded IDF officers. The retaliation was clear but measured.
6. #Israeli leadership, is free of elections but doesn't want an escalation before Eurovision. Hamas sees it as a bargaining chip. (Image social media)

Overnight IDF completed 2 complicated mission to locate the terrorists from Barkan and Ofra. During the operations the suspects were killed and accomplices were detained. (Thread)
There are 4 components of the IDF counter terrorism operations in the West Bank.
1. Intelligence.
2. Operational access.
3. The security barrier
4. Coordination with the Palestinian Security forces.
The combination of intelligence and operational access mean that the IDF can operate freely with limited forces in order to detain suspects, preferably before they’ve conducted terror attacks.

Thread on the essence of failed diplomacy. 1. Weak words from the force that is supposed to ensure that #Hezbollah is neither armed or dangerous in southern Lebanon.
Why has UNIFIL not been more outspoken against Hezbollah.
2. The diplomatic disaster regarding the worlds inaction to prevent #Hezbollah, a terrorist army, from threatening a state member in breach on UN Security Council resolution 1701.
3. World leaders appeasing Lebanon and trying to tame #Hezbollah have brought them to march on the streets of #London, and be embraced by the likes of @jeremycorbyn this is just repulsive. They MUST be condemned NOW! Why hasn’t anybody condemned this breach today?

Thread following #Hezbollah attack tunnel digging:
1. Since 2014 the IDF received complaints from Israeli residents that were investigated and found no tunnels at the time.
Hezbollah has an operational plan intended on penetrating Israel’s border with the Radwan Force.
2. In order to prevent easy infiltration of the Hezbollah Radwan Force the IDF constructed a wall and artificial cliffs making the penetration much more controlled and creating potential killing zones to ambush the enemy.
3. #Hezbollah has one reason for existence. To confront Israel. So this morning’s exposure is dramatic but not a surprise. The working assumption was that Hezbollah has tunnels. In 2006 IDF found Hezbollah tunnels that they used mostly to hide and move between positions.

#Hezbollah distributed a video this evening with explicit threats against specific locations in Israel. (Thread)
This comes 24 hours after reports of a strike in Syria attributed to Israel apparently of Iranian targets. This report has not been confirmed by Israel. Remains of a Syrian SAM were found in the Golan this morning. The propaganda effort suggests something important was targeted.
My initial analysis of the images reveal that Hezbollah is using Google Maps for their propaganda. With an arsenal of 150k missiles and rockets, some with precision capabilities they could target specific locations.
