Contact tracing will begin in a "phased approach" as of Oct. 12. AHS will work with schools and notify close contacts - with AHS taking over notification by mid-November with schools still assisting identifying cases.
Province will report which schools have cases- as it was last year. Outbreaks declared at 10+ cases within a two-week period.
Rapid tests kits will be targeted program for K-6 students in schools with outbreaks.
Tests are free - and parents can pick up the kits from schools.
