@DailyMailUK you are doing everyone a disservice, especially the public and GPs, by refusing to incorporate the facts about funding and per capita equivalents.
If more GPs fall ill with COVID, LESS people can be supported and / or seen.
My family and I continue to receive outstanding support from our GP, including phone and video appts and even home visits.
Your lies are dangerous.
as Jon Trickett MP has stated: 265 GP Practices closed permanently during the pandemic. "It’s completely unacceptable for the government to seek to blame doctors for the NHS crisis.
Blame lies squarely in Downing Street."
I see through your lies & propaganda, this is all about privatisation:
- Defund the NHS
- Demonise the NHS
- Underpay its workers
- Put a tax hike onto them
- Drive them out of their jobs
- Make the case for privatisation
1. Underfund 2. Leave the EU, lose staff 3. Corrupt £Billions 4. Lower realterms pay 5. Demoralise to point of suicide 6. Raise NI 7. Offer Private Healthcare as solution 8. Publish Anti-GP propaganda 9. Publish Anti-NHS propaganda
• 127 A&Es (type 1,2,3) closed since 2010
• £113bn cash handed to non-NHS providers since 2010 (2/3s to for profit firms)
• 88,000 vacancy crisis of unfilled post
• 7.4% decline in nurses’ pay
There are 22,143 fewer NHS Beds today than there were in 2010 - the equivalent of losing 8m NHS bed spaces a year
This has doubled waiting lists to over 5 million & was used to justify handing private health £10 billion to “clear the backlog”
Tory cuts to justify privatisation
Inconvenient Facts: 1) In 2016 the GP workforce was 15% below strength 2) The Govt promised 5k extra GPs by 2020 3) They delivered NONE 4) No-one was accountable 5) The Govt has now promised 6k extra GPs 6) Despite huge pressures, GPs are delivering record consultation numbers.
@DailyMailUK your refusal to highlight the cliff edge drop in funding since 2010 is propaganda to lead the electorate towards accepting privatisation. Since 2010, funding has caused the problems that now exist.
Hospitals are unable to admit patients. Patients are waiting 50 hours to gain access to a hospital bed. Ambulance services are on black alert across the country. Hospitals are already at 98.6% bed capacity, but hey ho, attack GPs. You lot are reprehensible.
Your refusal to acknowledge let alone call out & confront the infection growth in the UK is unforgivable.
If GPs become infected with COVID, there WILL BE LESS able to work.
You KNOW that this is all about creeping privatisation.
