#Nangarhar Governor Office:
Scores of Ahl-e-Hadith scholars pledged allegiance to #IEA in Nangarhar today.
"We are not in favor of revenge& violence. Anyone can live peacefully under the Islamic Emirate of #AFG using the #amnesty announced by the IEA," Nangarhar governor said.
This comes as extrajudicial killings continue in Nangarhar, mainly in Jalalabad City.
Last night a religious scholar teaching at a local Madrassa was shot killed in Qasaba area of Jalalabad.
Meanwhile, two young men were found dead today morning near the ring road in Jalalabad.
There are also UNCONFIRMED reports about #ISKP flags in Dehraud District of #Uruzgan (see the below tweet).
Note: No ISKP activity was reported in Uruzgan Province since the official announcement of the IS offshoot in Afghanistan, in January 2015.
Here is the English version of the statement of Nangarhar Governor's office about Ahl-e-Hadith/Salafi Ulema pledging allegiance to the IEA in the province:
There are reports in the social media about an #armed_clash between #Taliban u an unknown group in PD15 of #Herat City.
Some sources said that a former breakaway faction of the Taliban in Herat, that was led by late Mullah Manan Niazi, clashed with the TB.

Some sources told @Etilaatroz that today noon's armed clash with the #Taliban on outskirts of #Herat City involved those fighters of Mullah Manan Niazi's group, who allegedly pledged allegiance to the #ISKP.
No official confirmation is available yet.

Pro-Taliban twitter accounts:
Taliban clashed with #kidnappers in PD15 of #Herat City today, killing four of them on the spot.
#IEA's Ministry of Interior:

Shinwari Kara News:
"Two incidents took place in #Jalalabad today. In the 1st explosion, Mawlawi Mubarez, #Taliban's director for Nangarhar NGOs, escaped unhurt but his 2 comrades were killed.
A roadside IED detonated in Behsud/PD8 against TB, killing 1 child& wounding 2 others." Image
Correction:
The first incident of today in PD1 of #Jalalabad City was not an explosion but an armed attack by unknown gunmen, that killed two Taliban, as reported by @EnikassT. Image
#ISKP claimed responsibility for the armed attack in PD1 of #Jalalabad City yesterday:
"The soldiers of the Caliphate targeted two members of the Taliban, in PD1 of Jalalabad City, with automatic weapons, which led to their killing." Image

"#The_Supreme_Council_of_National_Resistance intends to resolve #AFG's issues through political means. If the other side (#Taliban)&their supporters do not accept such a solution, we will inevitably resort to the military activities&its responsibility&consequences will be on TB."
#Reactions to the National Resistance Council's statement:
1. Assadullah Saadati (a Hazara leader): "#War is not the solution. We ask the AFG leaders who are in foreign countries not to chant the slogan of war and not to go the way that leads to the Syrianization of Afghanistan."
2. Natiq Malikzada (a #NRF propagandist):
"It should be noted that all the leaders of this newely existed front 'The Council of National Resistance', who now speak of confrontation with the Taliban, fled to #Turkey during war with the Taliban or when the Taliban took Kabul."

Following a bomb blast in north of #Kabul, @DABS_Official announced that "a 220 kV imported power line was cut off due to an #explosion in Qala-e Murad Bik area, as a result of which Kabul, Ghazni& some other provinces faced #electricity_outage."
Note: #ISKP is the prime suspect.
As expected, #ISKP claimed responsibility for Thursday's explosion against a power pylon in north of #Kabul:
"Caliphate soldiers detonated an explosive device on an electricity tower in the Shakardra area of Kabul yesterday, which led to damages/losses in the electricity system." Image
DABS:
"The collapsed pylon in Qala-e Muradbeg area repaired&the imported electricity's one circuit (line) reconnected.
60% of Uzbekistan's imported electricity extended to Kabul&other provinces.
The 2nd line of electricity will also be connected tomorrow."

Since takeover of Kabul by the Taliban on 15 August, #ISKP claimed 28 high&low profile attacks mainly in Kabul, Nangarhar, Kunar&Parwan provinces.
While 2 attacks were recorded in 2nd half of Aug., both in Kabul, in Sep. there were 23 attacks& in Oct. up to now, the number is 3.
Distribution of all 28 attacks in provinces was as follow:
Nangarhar (Mainly #Jalalabad City): 17
#Kabul: 5
Kunar: 3
Parwan: 3
Types of #ISKP attacks: With exception of two Suicide & one Rocket attack (IDF), other attacks mainly included IED detonations, shootings & few ambushes.
#Targets of ISKP attacks:
While civilians were directly&indirectly affected by the ISKP attacks, the group mainly targeted Taliban in their all 28 attacks except the 2 against Kabul International Airport (one suicide&another an IDF attack, where Taliban were not primary targets).

The below report about #foreign_fighters in the north of #AFG is mainly based on incorrect info from anonymous and irrelevant sources, and looks more like a propaganda paper against the #Taliban.
There are some obvious facts that don't need much inquiry: gandhara.rferl.org/amp/taliban-ta…
The issue of new weapons& equipment is very clear. In all AFG, now TB have control over weapons depots& a large number of new military vehicles, & it is not specific to the north or Tajikistani fighters.
No source confirmed to me, the deployment of Tajik fighters to border areas.
While the report quoted Tajik& Afghan sources saying at least 200 militants from Tajikistan are currently based along the border, the actual number of all FFs in the north is about 300 with Tajiks making less than 100 out of it (2nd large group after Uzbeks among Central Asians).

#Taliban: "A bomb detonated in a gathering of civilians in the entrance of Eidgah Mosque in #Kabul this afternoon, leaving a number of civilians dead/wounded."
Note: Funneral ceremony of the mother of IEA's Deputy Minister of Info&Culture Z. Mujahid was ongoing inside the mosque.
While the updated& official casualty figures of today's #explosion are not announced yet, credible sources said that 8 were killed& 20 more wounded.
A pro-TB account wrote that following the explosion, a suspected suicide bomber was arrested near the incident scene (Unconfirmed).
#UN condemned yesterday's attack in #Kabul City that targeted those people gathered for a funeral ceremony in Eidgah mosque, in PD1.
