1/ Development of our post-incident strategy is taking more time than originally anticipated, but please know our teams are working hard to finalize details and get these plans into the hands of the community ASAP.
2/ Potential strategies will be presented to the community once cleared with legal and our key ecosystem partners.

We feel it is crucial to ensure our partners are aware and in support of our path forward.
3/ We aim to propose a handful of plans which address approximately 50K wallets across 14 assets totaling $97.6M.

These potential strategies would then be put up for a community vote. We hope to have this ready within a couple of weeks.

1/ Harmony has begun a global manhunt for the criminal(s) who stole $100M from the Horizon bridge. All exchanges have been notified. Law enforcement, @chainalysis, and @AnChainAI have active investigations to identify the responsible actors and recover the stolen assets.
2/ We are providing one FINAL opportunity for the actor(s) to return stolen assets with anonymity. Our FINAL term is below.
3/ Our FINAL term: Retain $10M and return the remaining stolen amount. In exchange, Harmony will cease its investigation.

1/ We are aware the hacker has begun to move funds through Tornado Cash. The team is working with two highly reputable blockchain tracing and analysis partners, and collaborating with the FBI as part of an investigation into this criminal act. 🧵
2/ In parallel, we're reviewing various options for users and partners and will keep you updated as we continue to explore ways to secure the ecosystem. While we cannot go into specifics, our goal is to share information in a timely manner with as much transparency as possible.
3/ It has always been our practice to communicate with the community's interest at heart. We believe in transparency but, note that in this case, confidentiality is paramount to support the investigations in progress.

1/ The Harmony team has identified a theft occurring this morning on the Horizon bridge amounting to approx. $100MM. We have begun working with national authorities and forensic specialists to identify the culprit and retrieve the stolen funds.
