Okay let me pen down some facts about #Satyapal_Malik controversy.
1. IAF operates 20 IL76 to provide logistics & troops induction support to Indian Army & to para miltiary forces during war, emergency deployment, natural disasters etc.
2. #IndianArmy & #CRPF uses road convoys for regular mov of Tps (soldier's going on leave vice versa, (de)induction of tps
3. Air Tpt request is given to IAF in case of adverse weather conditions.
4. 99.99% of Tps movement happens by road till date as it is impossible for IAF-
To provide Endless sorties in a counter terrorism grid.
5. IAF sorties are used by tps deployed in kargil upto Siachen base camp considering the terrain in winters.
6. Jammu-Srinagar-Jammu road is the safest mode as we know every inch of the terrain.
