In June, 🇺🇦 gov't signed a $65mln contract with 🇵🇱 for 72 🦀 Krab howitzers, of which the first 18 have been "donated" 🎁. In August @CNN reported that the Polish Krabs play a significant role in 🇺🇦 defense, showing 🇺🇦 soldiers praising the accuracy & modernity of the 🦀s.

🦀 is unique in that it combines an int'l consortium of designs. Weighing in at 58 t, the 🦀 is 12m long & 3.5m wide. It can reach a max speed of 60 km/h & has a range of 400km. It can fire at a rate of 6 rounds per min if necessary or sustain a steady barrage at 2 shells per min

🇷🇺 invasion on 🇺🇦, has raised security fears among many of 🇷🇺's neighbours leading 🇵🇱 to increase its defence spending to 3️⃣% of 𝐆𝐃𝐏 & more than 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 the size of its army to deter any attacks. 🥊

🇵🇱 has approved a $798 mln contract to purchase an additional 48 🦀 howitzers & accompanying vehicles for the 🇵🇱 Army. @mblaszczak, 🇵🇱 Deputy and Defense MP confirmed the @PGZ_pl's Huta Stalowa Wola deal at the 30th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce.
