Everything according to plan for #Putin in the mission to take #Kyiv in 3-4 days!
I get the feeling discontent inside the Kremlin is growing. #Russia's leader is in danger of being cornered and needs a 'result' in #Ukraine.
#Ukraine's General Staff report #Russia's Occupiers have had to double the number of beds in its military hospitals in #Luhansk
That's despite all the currently wounded officers being flown out of the war zone by helicopter last week. Ukraine says there's a lack of medical staff
1/2 #Russia did attack #Ukraine overnight with some success, although the worst damage may have been avoided when, as I reported last night, two Kh-59 missiles aimed at #Odesa were shot down.
The death toll is now five. They were murdered by #Russia when it targeted the civilian safe-spot of the "Invincibility Point" in the town in #Donetsk this morning.
The bodies of 3 women and 2 men were removed from the rubble.
#Ukraine has handed back to #Russia all seriously wounded prisoners of war.
This is NOT a prisoner exchange.
Kyiv has unilaterally repatriated the seriously ill as per the Geneva Convention.
Nothing to see here... just a man of the church in #Russia kicking a female pensioner in #Moscow.
As a defacto branch of the FSB, anyway connected with the Moscow patriarch of the Orthdox Church seems to feel they are invincible from any crimes in #Putin's Russia.
#Estonia expels a diplomat from #Russia for spreading propaganda and causing divisions in Estonian society.
Indeed, I understand #Ukraine has completely unblocked the minor road O-0506 to the west of #Bakhmut. That's the route to #ChasivYar and crucial for keeping supply lines open.

One man's died, another is badly wounded by enemy shelling in #Kherson.
They were hit while on the river as #Russia shelled the embankment area. A 55 year old died with shrapnel wounds to his chest. A 77 year old has injuries to his chest + limbs.
Oleksandr Matsievskyi may have gone, but will never be forgotten. A hero of #Ukraine, he was gunned down by Russian soldiers for saying "#SlavaUkraini"
Now some talented guys have painted a mural of Oleksandr in #Rivne.
A British spy plane, accompanied by two RAF fighter jets, have been spotted in the Black Sea, a little south of #Crimea, in international waters.
Bloomberg says #SouthAfrica is "unlikely" to arrest #Putin if he arrives for the BRICS conference.
That means the government breaking its pledge to fulfill the Rome charter it signed up to and defying the International Criminal Court order to detain the suspected war criminal.
1/2 #Ukraine has reacted angrily this evening to reports by the @UN earlier today which alleged executions of Prisoners of War, beatings and arbitary detention and mistreatment of civilians on BOTH sides in the war.
#Ukraine's ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets points out that the UN has had 100% access to Prisoners of War while #Russia has not anyone visit a single war detainee.
Furthermore Mr Lubinets points out there is no proof in the reports, which are based solely on word of mouth.

Day 1194 of Putin's war, though let's remember the initial invasion came 11 years ago.
Since February 2014, not once have western sanctions or military support come close to being enough to restore justice and defeat evil.
Welcome to THE daily 🇺🇦 thread for Sunday 1 June
A new day, a new season. Summer officially started, but nothing is likely to change just yet.
Y'day's thread had some great stories, but everything paled into insignificance when justy before midnight came news of a disaster in Russia's Bryansk region:
Another night of no sleep yet - dramatic action in Moscow.
Time to start another daily thread covering everything to do with Putin's disastrous 'operation' in Ukraine.
It's 5am in Russia and Ukraine, on Day 1190 of the war.
Let's begin...
I've still NEVER missed even one day since the start of Russia's full invasion.
But yesterday's thread ended up being one of the most lively. Another near 50-post story of the day, and if you like seeing "bavovna" in Russia, go right through to the end!
Good morning on Day 1176 of the war in Europe.
In my opinion, Ukraine should have won this war in 2022/23.
Effective leadership is based on good, decisive decisions. Sadly, the allies have never been decisive, preferring dithering and half measures.
Welcome to my daily thread:
What I mean by dithering is endless internal political battles in most countries to give adequate weapons. Scholz (Taurus), Biden (everything) the most obvious examples, though Joe was hampered by Congress and is way better than now
But it's always enough to survive, not to win
If you missed anything from yesterday, catch up with this link to the start of yesterday's thread. Scroll down to where you got to and complete your knowledge!
The start of a new week and simultaneously almost the end of 167 weeks of Russia's attempt to liberate Ukraine from its leader and remove the country from maps.
It's Day 1167 of Putin's full invasion. Welcome to Monday's daily thread.
First the link back to Sunday's thread for those who were busy y'day
It started with Ukraine counting the cost of yet more strikes on civilians and infrastructure but there were more strategic hits on Russia during the day, incl a night attack on Moscow.
