All the news here, throughout the day in one handy place⬇️
Quite a lot of news again yesterday from "leaked" NATO docs, #Russia land-mining, the weakening of the ruble, Russians sabotaging jets for #Ukraine, Occupiers eating endangered animals and loads of #RussiaOnFire incidents
1/2 A Russian opposition "Telegram journalist" claims to have chatted with Maria Lvova-Belova, #Russia's children's minister who's wanted by the ICC for suspected war crimes.
@betelgeuse1922 was trying to get "anti-war poster" girl Masha Moskoleva removed from state care
2/2
In the end Masha was hastily "reunited" with her mother, which neither child nor mother seemed to want; Denis is scathing in his interesting thread, which I think is true.
So let's try something. Should I change my profile pic? I could do a vote here, but in view of being "downgraded" by Twitter, I'll go for the old style:
To change my profile to (then) 12 year old Russian girl Masha's anti-war drawing, RETWEET.
To keep the Uk/Ukraine flag, LIKE!
With regards to the profile-pic vote, I'll abide by the results at midnight UK time tonight.

A Telegram channel in #Zaporizhzhia reports 100 Russian troops have been killed after #Ukraine's scouts discovered a hidden camp.
The missiles destroyed the military unit near the Verhnii Tokmak settlements near #Polohy
Equipment hidden in the forest was also destroyed.
You guys are being so generous for Easter. Thank you @lilrobbergirl
for this. And thanks to all who support me by comments, retweets or just reading and spreading the truth and importance about this fight for Ukraine's survival.
Occupiers admit a missile attack, but unsurprisingly claim it was shot down over #Feodosia. Of course no damage nor casualties are admitted.
But the smoke shown earlier in the thread suggest something more.
#Russia's desperation to replace the dead and wounded knows no bounds...
Telegram Channel MobilizationNews shows proof of teachers in #Ufa being forced to leaflet army ads on their only day off. While mobile recruitment centres appear in ever more cities in #Putin's Russia.
Another town in #Ukraine, another protest against the #Moscow church, inextricably linked with the FSB.
This is beautiful and historic #KamianetsPodilskyi (try visit after the war!)
Despite sounding the bells, the 'monks' couldn't drown out the crowd & this church will become🇺🇦
A further 31 Ukrainian children have been rescued from #Russia.
They were among the thousands illegally deported, leading to war crimes charges.
Look at the joy on their faces. I particularly like when the boy touches the #SaveUkraine sign on the coach which will take him home.
President #Zelenskyy in his evening statement praised #Poland for fulfilling all agreements, including Leopard tanks which are in #Ukraine.
Warsaw also continues to supply infantry fighting vehicles + APCs.
USA, Germany and Netherlands also pledged more aid during the week.
#Crimea - louod noises in #Sevastopol this evening.
Some locals report explosions...
Obviously the Occupiers quickly dispel such thoughts.
The local governor explained the loud noises as "work to prevent saboteurs."
Yet more damage in #Oleshky today.
The small town in #Kherson oblast was hit a further two times by #Russia today in addition to strikes most days this week.
It's Friday! The weekend approaches.
It's also the 814th day of #Russia trying to destroy #Ukraine, its language, culture and people, and over 10 years since the first invasion.

No coffees for 2 days - please help if you can.
Thursday was another busy one.
A day which saw Putin humiliated, #Ukraine attack #Crimea (again) and a load of other stories and videos.
Missed any of it? Just click here and scroll through the day's news:
#Ukraine, a democratic nation, desperate to keep it that way, remains under intense pressure from #Russia, an autocracy led by a despot and indicted war criminal.
All the news all day long in one handy thread. Read on..
#StandWithUkraine
Yesterday we only really had two stories, but they were big ones.
#Putin exiling & side-lining top names from the Kremlin.
And 25 years after the #Russia apartment bombings, 13 were killed in a new attack - but who did it?
Review the news here:
Hello and welcome to Day 807 of #Russia's war on #Ukraine.
Each day documenting the news and war crimes committed by indicted war criminal Putin and his Moscow horde as the neo-imperialists try to steal more land and wipe out another culture.
Here's another daily thread...
As always, the quick link back to the starts of yesterday's thread for those who missed some, or all, of Thursday's developments.
And right at the end of the day we saw another oil target inside #Russia being hit by drones!
So confirmation of another attack on an oil refinery in #Russia, the second in 2 months at this partuicular site.
Pershiy Zavod is the largest refinery in the region - the main complex for the processing of commercial oil and gas condensate, and the capacity is 1.2m tons/yr
Day 803 of #Russia's full invasion continues. The war criminals are super confident, tossing away lives of the plebs and useful idiots from Asia, Africa + the Americas.
But #Ukraine fights hard for its existence and supplies filter through to the frontlines.
This is the daily🧵
Today is a holiday in most of the UK, so I allowed myself a later start (no school run!)
Coming up news of #Ukraine hitting a Rusdian boat...
But first the link to yesterday's thread, which turned out to be quite busy.
Many across Europe celebrate a holiday today, the first day of May.
In normal times in #Ukraine it would be a big celebration, with Labour Day followed by Easter and Remembrance/Victory Day. But these are far from normal times. No respite from war. Welcome to the daily thread:
Tuesday saw #Russia's world bring more death to #Kharkiv and to #Odesa for the second time in two days - a video proving the sickening cluster bomb attack on the people the day before.
