Friend is reading Harry Potter for the first time. He suddenly realizes he's read a fanfiction Order of the Phoenix instead of the real one.

Honestly, the best part about this is people tweeting about how this made them laugh or made their day. Chris (aka friend) and I are amazed.
Update: friend Chris is now invested in the "alternate timeline" this fanfic and has started to read the second Psychic Serpent book.
He's planning to finish these fanfics before going back and reading the real books. You just can't help some people.
