Does anyone really understand capatalism?

Theism —-> Humanism —-> Data-ism. Perhaps the most mind-altering thought from @harari_yuval’s Homo Deus.

The way we believe in ‘Nationalism’, ‘Capitalism’ even ‘Money’. All such perfectly constructed fictions by us.

And it’s perhaps just this ability of ours to ‘make up stuff’ that enables us rule this world.

Government has become mere administration. It manages the country, but it no longer leads it. It makes sure teachers are paid on time and sewage systems don’t overflow, but it has no idea where the country will be in twenty years.
