3/ *Should* the GC and COS have a standard that doesn't merely reflect the President's "If you love me I love you" mentality? Of course. That's what their actual employers -- the citizens of this country, not Donald Trump -- expect and deserve. DO they? Of course not.
4/ The personal and moral corruption of Trump is universal, inevitable, and tragic. Everyone around him, no matter where they start, ends reduced, stained, lesser for the experience.

5/ The universal character of these fights today is simple; outrage, lunacy, criminality, corruption, racial animus, incompetence, violence against women...all of it will be defended to the last breath by Trump's media enablers and fans.
