In 2017, I was in a bad place; I stopped school & needed a job to help raise money for it & shoulder my commitments. I came here to ask for a job & I got one. Or so I thought.

This is a story of lies, broken promises & working 4 nothing #Thread Pls RT @Gidi_Traffic @instablog9ja
I got a reply from @kuadakitchen who was hiring at that time. See exchange here:

After a series of email exchange & a Physical Interview, I got a job from @kuadakitchen ...I was to be paid #25,000 basic salary and a weekly allowance of #1,500 for transport which makes a total of #31,000 monthly.
I was usually going 4rm Sango-Ota to Yaba daily

Welcome Letter:
I accepted her offer and resumed work with about 7 other people on the 10th of May.

I sent her a e-mail for Acceptance of the Job Offer.
On the 10th of June, I received my first salary of 25k naira in cash. I also received 6k (my transport allowance in bits through the month of May).

She fired 2 of her recruited staff in June for theft.
On the 10th of July, she didn't pay us. Her reasons were: she spent the bulk of her money opening a new spot for her business in Unilag. We were told to be patient. We continued working.

At the end of the month of July, she recruited 5 new staff to work with her.
In August, she was owing us 2 months salary and the new staff, a month salary. She didn't pay. Why we asked? She claimed she was scammed while trying to open her Unilag spot. She bought an illegal space she said.
Instead of letting go of her new staff, she kept them and promised she'd resolve the issue with the school authorities and pay them later. We all continued working for her.
In September, she still did not pay us. She made promises upon promises and still assured us we would all get paid (including the 5 new staff). At this point she was owing me 3 months salary.
On the 25th of September, I fell seriously ill & I was rushed to the hospital. After series of tests; I was diagnosed of typhoid due to stress. I was going from Ota to Yaba every single day and my mum helped me with transport fare.
My mum had to go see her and she pleaded and promised my mum that she would pay. My mum requested that I stopped working till she paid what she owes. She convinced my mom that she should allow me to continue and promised that she would pay up.
In October, she asked 1 of her 5 new staff to stop working. Another of them stopped coming to work. She still didn't pay us salary and requested we stopped coming to work for the main time. We stopped for about a week, starting from 9th October.
On the 15th of October (a sunday); she sent a whatsapp message to all of us; requesting that we resumed work back on Monday. She said, "A new era is here". "Tomorrow is payday".
On Monday when she got to work, she explained a change in her business strategy to us & paid us a meagre #6,250 each! She was owing me 3 months salary and paid me 6 tasan! One-quarter of my monthly salary excluding my transport allowance. At this point she was owing me: #86,750.
When she announced that it was "pay-day" I thought I was going to get at least a month salary but she shocked us. My heart dropped.

She was sneaky with her payment. She transferred cash to my account and before I could get an alert, she stepped out to avoid confrontation.
Much later in the day, she came to the office. I explained my challenges to her. Reminded her of our discussion before I started working. All what I was going through & why getting payed for my work was so important. She pleaded with me for more time. I continued working.
I know what U're thinking... Mugun. But I was helpless. There were issues back home and we needed cash to resolve them. I was definitely not expecting money from anywhere else; and I couldn't fight and win...
In the beginning of November, she said the Int'l Trade fair was about to start and she would use it as an avenue to make a lot of money to pay us. She didn't pay our November salary yet again. She was owing me: #117,750. Most of us except 3 stopped working.
According to my offer letter; whenever we work outdoors for her, she'd pay us additional cash separately from our basic salary. She promised to pay #3,000 daily for 10 days (November 3rd - November 12th).
At the end of the Trade Fair, she was to pay me #30,000. She paid me #900... Unbelievable right? That was the last straw that broke the camel's back. I stopped working that day. At this point, she was owing: #147,750.00
After confronting her for the ridiculous #900, she promised me and the other members of staff that worked; just 3 of us (others stopped coming to work at the beginning of November) that she would pay us the following week.
Something interesting happened this day. After insulting me with her payment; she asked me to get her chicken for #1000 and chattered a sleek Toyota Camry, AC pumping from CBS, Obalende to Sabo, Yaba right in front of me.
Madame had no money to pay her staff but she was living the cash-madame life style; splurging money left & right. And she rubbed it in our face as if to say "You can't do me nothing..."
That day I was insulted, helpless but I had no choice than to receive her meagre amount. I didn't have a kobo on me to get back home in Sango-Ota.
In this same month, one of the staff that stopped working in November reported her to the Chairman of the Industrial Estate in Yaba; the Chairman requested for her presence and she begged the chairman but told my colleague: "Do you worst, I don't have a kobo to pay you".
She packed the business and moved out from the estate after this.
We don't know where her business is now...
While working at the Trade Fair, she brought a lady that worked for her in 2016 to work as a contract staff. She still did not pay this lady and when she didn't; the lady flared up saying "I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO COME BACK TO WORK FOR YOU AGAIN..."
The lady disclosed to us that in 2016, she laid of all her old staff after refusing to pay their salaries, then proceeded to recruit new people in 2017. My set. So it wasn't D first time case. It was her identity. A pattern

USE THEM! SACK THEM WITHOUT PAYING! RECRUIT NEW PEOPLE!
On the 27th of November after waiting for 15 days, I reached out to her and then she said "money is coming, first week in December".
It never came....

In December, she recruited a new set of contract staff who worked for her in Redemption Camp for 5 days. After the programme, SHE STILL DID NOT PAY THEM!

They almost beat her up. Mr Tunde, a contract staff that trained the new recruits stopped them.
After trying to reach her repeatedly since November, she picked in December. Same old story. Excuses!
On the 24th of December, she sent a message to us. She claimed she was working on something else & promised to pay every single kobo she owed us latest in February 2018. EMPTY PROMISES. On the 6th of March, she paid some of us #10,000 with description "Part Payment for Salaries".
2017 was already a very difficult year for me. Kuada Kitchen came in like a glimer of hope but ended up breaking me completely.
She keeps us on a leash and continues to lead us on with false hope. I'm not the only one she owes.

I've been trying to reach her but her line doesn't go through. Apparently, she has blocked some of our numbers on whatsapp and has abandoned her current line.
I'm putting this thread out to PLEAD FOR HELP and expose @KuadaKitchen as the fraud that she is. She has so much confidence that we can't do anything about this situation as she has always gotten away with it till now...
Thank you for all the replies. ❤️
For everyone asking, I don't have clear pictures of her, she has always avoided them.
