So a while ago, y’all told me to drop a thread with some ways to make more money, financial tips, resources etc.

From Jan 20 to Feb 10 I made about $2500+ from various apps with minimal effort. I’m gonna share how below

1) If you’re looking for get rich quick schemes...this ain’t it. This is for anybody who wants to live better financially

2) I’m not a financial expert or advisor; double check everything

Anyways let’s get into it — Part 1

So $2500 in like 2-3 weeks — that came from 3 apps that I promoted on here before buttttt some people ain’t wanna take me serious so imma explain it one more time in the thread 😂

These apps all concern stocks, which if you don’t know about, I recommend downloading this app called Rubicoin. Breaks everything down easily & it’s a quick read!

Anyways... about the $2500 👀🤑

I did this mainly through referral programs.

If you aren’t familiar with those, basically companies offer rewards when you get friends/family/anybody to download their app.

It’s mutually beneficial and a great way to earn fast and easy $$.

App #1: Acorns

It’s essentially a piggy bank for your credit cards/debit cards. It’s been recommended by CNN, Forbes, The NY Times & more.

It’s great for saving, but you get $5 for every person you get to sign up.

Acorns is cool because all that saved money also gets invested for you.

I made about $2250 from Acorns recently straight from their referral program.

In Jan/Feb they gave $1,000 to whoever got 10 people to sign up for their app. There’s a similar program this month!

App #2: Robinhood

Another popular app for young people, Robinhood has no fees (unlike other stock trading apps) AND you get a free stock (Apple, Sprint, Tesla) for every referral

App #3: Stash

It’s in the middle of Robinhood and Acorns with investing. I like this because you can invest in companies that align with causes and values you believe in

So that’s how I made over $2500 in just a few weeks — utilizing referral programs of tons of apps. Even if your friends and family won’t download... you have access to so many people online. I’ve seen people just tweet links in reply to viral tweets and get so many referrals

You have to get creative with it and if you want the money that bad... you’ll find a way 🤷🏾‍♂️ Nobody’s just going to hand you money!

My guy @PonceDeLeioun put up on instagram the other day “Your NETWORK is your NET WORTH” and that’s just facts right there. BUILD!

But aside from the money, those first 3 apps are really important because investing is something you should be doing with your money — and you don’t need to be a financial genius for it. That Rubicoin app breaks down everything for you and it’s a great place to start

The thing about investing is that time is your greatest ally — so the earlier you start the more potential for your money to grow. Don’t let not knowing how be an excuse — you got the resources now to get going!

So next, we gon talk about credit cards 🤑

Y’all gonna need credit... so get a few credit cards. If you wanna check your credit score right now, use the app @creditkarma. It’s the best one I know of because it’s free and doesn’t hurt your credit score by checking (some other places do — it’s called a hard inquiry)

Credit cards are only bad if you don’t have self-control. Treat it like your debit card — buy something then pay it off immediately. If you don’t have the money to buy it... then don’t. It’s really that simple 😂

Credit cards also have great rewards for new users — like my Delta airlines card got me a FREE round trip flight to Hawaii that I’m waiting to take somebody on in the future (only 30,000 Miles)

30,000 Miles seems pretty cheap though right?

& that’s cause it is. You can get more out of your Miles by redeeming them through partner airlines of major airlines (example: flying Alaskan Air instead of Delta). Hawaii is just the spot I wanna go, but it’s any location really
