We live in a lost world, filled with people who either have false hope, or no hope at all. This weekend reminds of the one and only genuine reason for eternal hope: Christ's death for sinners, and His bodily resurrection.

Times like this are times that — sometimes — lost people will more seriously accept invitations to attend a church.
So ask! Ask cashiers, servers, neighbors; unbelieving spouses, friends...don't assume they'll say "No." Reach out with love.

You know what they need to know more than anything: how to have peace with God, on God's terms! So invite them, offer to pick them up, offer to take them to lunch after. Sit with them, so they don't feel lost or awkward.

...your church's sign, building, web site, or denomination-name. It's the ministry of living believers: believers who know they are obligated, who are eager, and who are unashamed of Christ's saving Gospel (Romans 1:14-16).
