Dear #BajrangiTwitter,

Do you know of the story of #Hanuman and the multiple universes?

Let me tell you (Thread)
When Lord Ram was informed that his time on Earth has come to an end, and he needs to disown his mortal form, he agreed. He had a plan to make sure that Lakshman leaves before him, but he was worried.

He was worried for Hanuman.
1/n
He was worried that if Hanuman comes to know that Ram is going to die, he would battle and defeat all the gods who would intervene, but wont let Ram leave Earth. He knew what Hanuman was capable of. So he devised a plan.

He called Hanuman in his chamber...

2/n
Right when Hanuman entered the room, Ram dropped his favorite ring on the floor, and it fell inside a crack on the floor.
Ram asked Hanuman to shrink his size and fetch his ring for him. Hanuman most eagerly obliged, shrunk to the size of an atom and jumped into the crack.

3/n
But soon Hanuman realized that this was no ordinary crack.
It was an endless tunnel with infinite depth, but the ring was nowhere to be found.
Determined to complete his mission, Hanuman kept going until he saw light at the end of the tunnel.

4/n
When the tunnel ended, he found himself in a large hall and the light emitting from a corner.
When he went close to the source of light, he found Ram's ring.
As he was about to return when he realized that there is another ring that was exactly like Ram's

5/n
As he stood there confused, a serpent came and introduced himself as Vasuki, the god of Sarp-lok, the place Hanuman was standing in.
He understood Hanuman's confusion, and took him further down the hall where Hanuman discovered a mountain of rings that look like Ram's

6/n
Vasuki explained that every few million years, a ring falls from the crack and a monkey comes to get that ring, while Ram dies on Earth.
This has happened thousands of times, and the story repeats itself every single time.
There is nothing that can change this.

7/n
When Hanuman becomes sad that Ram will die.
Vasuki explains that time flows in a cyclic fashion. Where every beginning has an end, and every end has a new beginning from the start. There have been thousands of Ram and Hanuman before, and there will be thousands after him.

8/n
So he must not be sad that Ram is gone. He will be back again at the end of time, and every time Ram comes, there will always be a Hanuman to take care of him and to find the ring for him.
With heavy heart, Hanuman accepts the fate and decides to leave the place.

9/n
So the next time someone tells you that Indian mythology is stupid, throw this story in their face.

Jai Bajrang Bali.

10/10
On* their face
