We're all being rather blasé for a country that *already* has:

The idea that you can just say "crime" and "uneducated" and "more than 2 kids" and think the moral response isn't "then let's educate those kids and care for that community so it rises out of crime and disrepair, my god, these are our brothers and sisters"
If we have in our community crime-infested and impoverished neighborhoods, that is an indictment on the community, not the neighborhoods.
