This is going to be an off-the-cuff thread about Jack Hanick. If you don't know who that is, here's more than you probably wanted to know:

But if that's too long, here's the TL;DR: Jack Hanick worked as a producer at Fox News since the beginning, became infatuated with Russia, moved his family there, and worked with the propagandists who got Trump elected.

One of the things I said at the end of the article at the top of the thread is that Jack Hanick hasn't been seen in a while. I want to be a bit more specific about what I meant and why that was worth mentioning.

Hanick worked for Tsargrad TV, which (like Fox News) he was a founding producer. In late 2017 Tsargrad TV stopped as a TV channel (still does web content). I've been trying to find him since then.

On November 20, 2017, Hanick allegedly presented a report at a conference called "Moral Climate in the family and traditional values of the peoples of Russia".
But he doesn't appear in any of the photographs.

And I've found other photographs of that "conference" which seems to just be that room. Hanick had no seat at the table. If he presented something, it wasn't as a member of that table, and he wasn't photographed that I've found.

As nothing burgers go, so far this isn't even worth mentioning. Except this happened again. Two days later, Russia had its "Golden Ray" awards, which is an award show for media that's produced for non-broadcast output (Internet).

Allegedly, Jack Hanick was there and received an award. As the article states, "The most amazing [industry professional who came to the ceremony] was when this evening representatives of "Tsargrad TV", who won in one of the nominations, brought to the stage... Jack Hanick."

Now here's where it gets a bit more odd. This was an extensively covered, photographed, and videoed event. And again, I can find no sign of Hanick. Even though he was the "most amazing" guest that evening.

Moreover, other news coverage of the event doesn't mention Hanick AT ALL.
So this seemed odd. This is why I mentioned that it would be worth figuring out where Hanick is, at the end of that article.

I've seen no signs of him since then, until earlier this month, when he was scheduled to be a panelist at the Moscow International Educational Fair, on April 21st.

So after the 21st came and went, I went to find evidence of Hanick's continued existence. So far, I'm still coming up empty. While many events were live streamed and are available on YouTube, his event is not.

One of Hanick's co-panelists was unable to attend, and recorded his own video that's available on Youtube.

Additionally, I have not even been able to figure out if the panel went off. You see, the last day of the event, they decided an hour before the event to shorten the program because of a storm warning.

They didn't actually close before his panel was supposed to meet, but it sounds like the rearranged the schedule at the last minute.
It's also odd that they describe the storm as a "hurricane" (урагана). In Moscow.

Nevertheless, I searched the many photos and videos on line for signs of Hanick, and again came up empty.

I'm not saying that I know something sinister happened. But I am at this point willing to say that it is worth a wider effort than just me to try and figure out where he is right now.

It's still probably a nothing burger. But it's a nothing burger that people should be taking a closer look at, to make sure there really is nothing in it.

[END+1] I completely forgot to mention how odd it is, that in the article about the Golden Ray awards where they talk about Hanick being an Emmy-winning producer, they include a photograph of a man holding an emmy — but it's not Jack Hanick.
