Another important thing: environmental kills. Axe R2-R2, barehanded R2, Runics like Anvil with its follow-up, entering RGe, Rage R2... find ledges and pits, bait the enemies nearby, then knock them off to avoid enrages. Projectile parry redirects into targets for knockoffs 👍
Additionally, you can perform pin kills with the axe throw. Launch enemies near walls, then throw a heavy axe toss at them.
While I'm at it, they suggested turning off aim assist, but didn't say why. Of course it gives you more control over your throws, but you can use it to INTENTIONALLY MISS shield-bearers and evasive enemies (Wolver) so that you can stagger them with recall!
Another helpful tip: parrying is very useful, but sometimes it's better just to dodge. Especially against Dark Elves. Full dodge their combo and you can punish, unlike when parrying. Hate the enemy, but that tactic does make them easier to deal with.
Wolver are another threatening enemy type that folks have trouble with. The main key is actually to stay aggressive, even if from range. Rapid light axe tosses and shots from BOY can keep them from ever getting their claws out.
