Greetings, for those interested in facts, not hearsay or conjecture regarding Mãnuka honey, please read this white paper:

Some Mãnuka honey, exported from New Zealand prior to Feb 5th 2018 and certified by an MPI recognized testing lab may actually be blended Manuka, failing to achieve the previously intended quality standards either accidentally or intentionally.
Curiously, more "Mãnuka" honey is sold worldwide then exported from New Zealand, by a wide margin. The cheap "Mãnuka" honey on the shelf may not be Mãnuka honey by current standards(post February 5th 2018) If it's not bottled in New Zealand, there could be anything in that bottle
UMFHA is an organization that ensures it's members follow current(post Feb 5th 2018) MPI testing standards:

Finally, here's a way to recognize if a brand claiming to be Manuka Honey is actually following the standard set by MPI: Look for the UMF logo.

Weed, shrooms, LSD, & other PA drugs, from a pharm POV (well, at least this pharm chemist) are illegal out of pure control, BC I can't find a reason of why they're considered illegal now. I’m gonna keep out of most of the economic implications:

Lp(a) blood level show a dose-response relationship to cardiovascular disease risk in multiple studies, and Lp(a) is now widely considered a reliable marker for CVD risk.

Here is a graph showing ~4-fold increased risk at >95th-percentile Lp(a) level.
