THREAD: The following is a comment I tried to post on the 'Independent's article about how Labour have expelled a bloke for applying for an All Women Shortlist to expose how daft it is to let blokes on to all women shortlists. It's held for moderation, can u tell me why? 1/8
This whole self ID thing should have gone to conference. Corbyn is supposed to be leafing a 'democracy review' but the party has now allowed a small number of reps on the NEC to decide that 'woman' no longer means 'adult human female' but 'any bloke with a fetish'. 2/8
There is nothing wrong with the current system of gender recognition. Self ID only aids those who have no intention of actually transitioning. There are also mental health issue entwined with trans identities. 3/8
A disproportionately high percentage of trans identified males are also autistic or have other mental health issues. Blind advocation of 'self ID' is fuel to the fire of this sociological trend that has developed because of patriarchy. 4/8
Whats messed up is that top brass obviously haven't analysed this any deeper than 'lets try & look progressive', there is nothin progressive about trans theory. Its the belief that a feminine man cannot just be a feminine man, he must really be a woman trapped in a man's body.5/8
extremist trans policy is almost exclusively 4 the benefit of trans males, not females. male entitlement is intrinsic to trans theory. They demand access to women only spaces & provisions, not because they have been denied opportunity, but because they see it as validation. 6/8
What if an AWS ends up with 5/5 places being taken by males who think of themselves as women? Where then is the platform for women? AWSs were devised to mitigate a historical imbalance that disadvantaged women because of their biology, not cos of their 'gender identity'. 7/8
These people obsessively target anyone who refuses to endorse their fantasy to get them expelled, well it wont be a happy irony when they damage labour's chances of reelection with this factionalism. 8/8
