The Holly Mountain is an autonomous area in northeastern Greece that is the site of several Greek Orthodox monasteries founded in the 10th century and has kept faith, tradition and authenticity through centuries to today. I saw this wonderful documentary about it, and this is the reason I share it with you. The history and the value of this place is enormous. Impossible to describe in a tweet.
But it is for eastern Orthodox Christians a sacred place if pure faith and wisdom.
