I'm not talking about the people who are pro-life just for themselves. I'm talking about the people who use their religious beliefs as the basis to take away someone else's rights. People who shame you at clinics and support candidates who will further their religious agenda.
People who want to ban abortions claim that it's God's plan and only God creates life as reasons abortion should be illegal. This unwanted baby is what GOD wanted, so you cannot terminate the pregnancy, health or desires of the mother be damned. There is no place for science.

Penso que quem defende o aborto ignora (ou diverge de pressupostos) temas fundamentais de antropologia e filosofia moral para falar do estatuto do embrião como pessoa. Suas agendas expressam mais em erros do que no desejo mórbido de destruir o embrião pelo prazer de destruí-lo.
Defendo essa teoria — inspirado na teoria socrática do erro moral. Para o caso do aborto, penso que as ideias de Sócrates de que “ninguém erra voluntariamente” e “é melhor sofrer uma injustiça do que praticá-la” têm peso filosófico significativo para a discussão atual.
