Today's UK briefing documents the slow down in drone use by #Russia.

A 73 year old woman has died after #Russia bombed #Kharkiv again overnight.

One of the rockets in the "Industrial sector" hit a private residential building.

#Russia has destroyed another school in #Donetsk.

The Kurakhiv gymnasium is the 274th school in the region to be damaged and 29th to be completely ruined.

Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko revealed these photos, saying thankfully no one was injured.

Another explosion in #KryvyiRih this morning - the city was also hit last night.

Looks like another oil dump has been struck.

The occupied town of #Enerhodar is apparently without any power after what #Russia has described as "#Ukraine shells damaging the power lines" around the nuclear power plant.

Exactly as #Ukraine and some independent observers predicted for the past two weeks.

It's believed everyone escaped unharmed from this morning's attack on #Kharkiv.

Two rockets smashed into the city centre. One hit a 5-story apartment block, completely destroying three floors.
The second rocket hit the courtyard of a council building.

Smoke is rising next to the admin building in the centre of the occupied city.

The group claiming sabotage of #Russia's railways reports that The Kremlin is having to reduce freight on the rails.

There's no way to verify the information (translation of the post below), but it is feasible that sanctions have led to an inability to repair many problems.

Looks like the smoke in #Berdyansk may have been an attack on the Russian installed "Head" of the city.

Many locals saying his car was blown up.
A better video here - but is that small arms fire or other small explosions? Could be ammo being set off.

The IAEA report says there is an "urgent need" for interim measures to prevent a nuclear accident at the #Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant.

It's called for a safety and security protection zone to be created around the facility,

Extraordinary claims on a TV channel in #Dnipro

DN1 shows what's said to be a video of a zoom meeting on Day 3 of the war. In it Mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, says his sources "from the other side" assure him Dnipro won't be bombed.

They are #Novovoznesens'ke in #Kherson region, a full 5 miles/8km south of Vysokopillya which was re-captured yesterday

Yesterday I posted a video of a chimp chatting to a woman in #Ukraine.

The chimp got out of a zoo in #Kharkiv. He evaded recapture for a while, then accepted a jacket from a trusted handler and headed "home"

The massacre at #Olenivka happened 40 days ago (many #Ukraine POWs were killed when the prison they had been moved to was shelled.

Understandably #Ukraine's Presidential Adviser is not happy:

The answer was "no" - as I suspected, he could not survive
"Commandant" of #Berdyansk Artyom Bardin has died following the car bomb.

In case you missed it earlier in the thread, the centre of #Kharkiv got hit by Russian rockets earlier today.

Praise to #Ukraine's Emergency Services who yet again were straight on the scene. Here they rescued an old lady and a frightened dog.

As we near the end of another day in #Ukraine, it's been perhaps the most encouraging of all 195 so far.

At least some territory has been reclaimed in #Kharkiv, #Kherson, #Donetsk AND even #Luhansk, according to exiled Governor Serhiy Haidai who says they have a "foothold"

In addition, big attacks on more Russian bases in most regions, including in #Zaporizhzhia oblast.

It was in the south of that region which saw a significant strike by #Ukraine patriots, with the Russian Head of ZP assassinated in a car bomb.

#Kharkiv has suffered another missile attack.

Ihor Terekhov confirmed "So far, we know about arrivals in Nemyshlyansk district. According to preliminary information, several cars and an industrial building are burning there."
