Day 321 of #Russia's war. There's been outright war in Europe for every month of the past year after the unprovoked aggression started with bombs and the invasion of #Ukraine last February.

First bad news from #Kramatorsk in #Donetsk region.

It's been confirmed that two people died when a Russian missile hit their car as they were travelling on the road.

I missed this tale from yesterday. Five Russians are stuck in the departure lounge of the main airport in #Seoul.

They fled #Russia to avoid mobilisation, but South Korea has refused their request for asylum.

Everyone in #Ukraine is awaiting news from #Soledar on the eastern front. It's not looking good with supply lines possibly having been effectively cut - #Russia has fire control over the main route in to the town in #Donetsk oblast.

Here's a photo of the car in which two people died in #Kramatorsk.

#Russia's rockets hit the car and road last night.

A plane skidded off the runway in northern #Russia.

Officials say there were no injuries among the 116 passengers and 6 crew as the jet came to rest off the runway in #Norilsk.

#Russia has blocked the #Crimea bridge to private vehicles until 4pm this afternoon.

It's not clear whether it's for ongoing repairs or whether the Terrorist State tries to move military equipment in or our of the Occupied lands.

#Ukraine's Southern Command reports hitting a Russian Command Post as well as 5 bases of manpower and military equipment in the previous day.

They also hit 3 anti-aircraft positions and downed two of #Russia's reconnaissance drones.

This is said to be new video from #Soledar.
I cannot verify location or date.
But all reports indicate there is close combat fighting in the town now.

Some speculate #Ukraine may withdraw today, but Zelenskyy promised reinforcements, expected to arrive today.

The biggest explosion yesterday was in #Ochikiv in #Mykolaiv region, which injured 15 people.

This CCTV clip is said to be from the kitchen of a sushi restaurant 6km away from the blast site.

#Ukraine has lost one of its most senior officers in the fight to hold #Soledar

Colonel Yuriy Yurchik, head of the special forces unit of the State Border Guard Service died of severe shrapnel wounds.

He had been personally helping evacuate seriously wounded colleagues.

More details are being reported on the mystery of how and where #Ukraine hit a Russian boat yesterday.

Sources say it happened on the River Dnipro in #Kherson region, at Bilohrudove near to #HolaPrystan. The vessel was hit by artillery from the right bank.

Big media finally cover the disappearance in #Ukraine of volunteers Andrew Bagshaw and Chris Parry.

However, they're reporting that both are British. I wrote yesterday Mr Bagshaw, from Christchurch, is a New Zealander. But he does hold dual citizenship

In #Kherson the Council has released photos of damage from the latest attack by #Russia on a residential area of the city.

Deputy Chairman Yuriy Sobolevskyi says this lake is the crater from the explosion. "There are no military targets nearby. They're terrorists."

This is becoming far too common. #Russia gets to know where humanitarian aid distribution points are and looks to be deliberately shelling them. It cannot be coincidence. It can be called evil and terrorism.

It's a big one in #Moscow this time.

In the north-east of the city this 'car service' warehouse went up in flames. The roof quickly collapsed. Casualties unknown.

#Russia's daily update claims three #Ukraine Su-25 fighter jets were shot down in the last 24 hours in the Donetsk region.

Obviously this cannot be verified and so much of Moscow's info is just fiction, but that's what they say today.

Troops come under fire in #Soledar.
It's reported these are #Ukraine fighters, which although likely, I cannot confirm.

I'm guessing there are fewer points of engagement/contact than in the first months of the war.

In Nova Mayachka on the left bank of #Kherson region, #Ukraine attacked one of the Occupiers' military administration buildings.

However Ukraine has just released another intercepted call where a woman says her husband helped transport 22 truck loads of bodies.

#Russia's propaganda channels and war bloggers claim #Wagner mercenaries have entered the centre of #Soledar and captured the local Admin/Council building.

Obviously these are as yet unconfirmed reports which #Ukraine denies

The local Governor says the border village of #Shebekino has been repeatedly shelled.

#Soledar NOT under Russian control, yet!

#Wagner militants released a short video claiming to have taken control of the administration building in the centre of the town.
Here's a screenshot and it was noticeable they shot very tightly, not showing surroundings.

Gunfire can also be heard in the clip so there is still fighting.
Also, thanks to Google, we can clearly see #Wagner were NOT at the main council building in the centre of #Soledar, which is shown here:

A few more searches reveals the old school number 14 was turned into #Soledar council buildings 3 years ago. It matches the facade in the video.

Very sadly, the photos/news on Telegram about missing volunteer Chris Parry was a sick fake

The photos did not show up on image searches, but found the originals now - taken from Chris' instagram account when he had an op in 2016.

Chris and Andrew are still missing near Bakhmut

Russians write that they've given #Ukraine's troops in #Soledar a midnight deadline to surrender.

I doubt this is true and even if it is, there will not be a surrender. There is still a route out albeit now far more dangerous than a few days ago.

Explosions in #Kharkiv confirmed.
No further details yet.
