Saturday is Day 381 of #Russia's attempt to obliterate #Ukraine from the map, to destroy an independent nation and centuries of culture.

This is the only thread you need for all the news and developments around the war, here's y'day's thread to catch up:

Starting today with the British Intel update. London confirms that #Wagner troops have reached the centre of #Bakhmut. However they explain why #Ukraine is still holding #Russia at bay in the #Donetsk town.

They don't supply a map, so I've added 2 from Google + DeepState to help

There are so many exaggerations, lies & fakes in all wars; I guess these days it's easier, quicker to spread + difficult & time consuming to try to spot fakes.

Something else #Russia loves to do is humiliate people. Even schoolchildren.
This girl in #Crimea posted on Insta that a popular #Ukraine supermarket may open in Sevastopol and "soon we will return home."

So she's then forced to "apologise" in front of the Occupiers' flag.

Many explosions reported this morning in various districts of #Melitopol'. No reports on what exactly happened, but unlikely to be Occupiers' training if the bangs are so widely spread.

In my opinion the small city in #Zaporizhzhia is likely the key to stopping #Russia.

It's equally disgusting and unbelievable what #Russia does.
First they whine about American/UK/EU "interference" anywhere the people want freedom. Then they basically threaten an invasion if the people of #Georgia don't cease their demonstrations.

The UK targets @Olympics sponsors after @iocmedia continues to support the inclusion of athletes from the Terrorist State in the Paris games next year.

Around 250 #Ukraine athletes have been murdered in the illegal war. 1000s more have nowhere to train.

The news of the persecution of #Crimea's Tatar community comes shortly after political prisoner Dzhemil Gafarov died in a pre-trial detention centre.

Dzhemil was a defendant in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case, where the FSB is detaining activists of the Crimean Tatar movement.

Four areas of #Ukraine still suffer from lack of power as a result of the mass missile attack.

#Kharkiv, #Zhytomyr #Dnipropetrovsk and #Mykolaiv are all still affected.

However Ukrenergo says a TPP in #Kharkov has been repaired and Kharkiv may have full power again soon.

#Slovakia's a key figure in the alliance. But a new poll puts ex PM Robert Fico ahead. He recently said the war in #Ukraine was started by "Ukrainian fascists" in 2014, and it's impossible to return annexed #Crimea.

During the night a big blaze at the plastic production workshop in Kolabino near #Moscow.

The roof of the building collapsed as the fire intensified.

#Russia's MoD releases a video showing it hitting a British-made Stormer HVM anti-aircraft missile system, given to #Ukraine.

Thousands of residents remain, one filmed this, you can see civilian cars getting hit. This is against the Geneva Convention.

Unconfirmed reports of explosions in #Zaporizhzhia. Air raid warning was sounding at the time.

Many are writing about a video showing smoke near the centre of #Mariupol suggesting it too is a strike by #Ukraine.

However, here's a better video; it seems to be a house fire. Could be a missile but more likely gas or domestic accident in my opinion.

Ukraine Online reveals that the Chief Prosecutor of #Kyiv Oleh Kiper used to be personally hired by Yermak as an adviser.
Recently it became known Kiper's wife has a Russian passport & tax number.
