It's a wrap. I can't take Twitch TOS seriously. There should be no tolerance for stuff like that at this point. Don't expect me at any diversity panels at twitchcon this year either. Yall not gettin credit for creating safe spaces when its a lie.
There's some great people workin at twitch. There's folks that really do care. And there's awesome partners out there too. But as a whole the ball is being dropped. I'm not gonna sugar coat the truth.
I don't want to be "that guy" all the time. We can appreciate representation and black history month and pride month etc. But if issues like racism aren't handled with severity on the other end you are asking us to co-exist on the platform with people who dont want us here
There's no unity with folks who go into chat wanting to "see how toxic chat is" Somebody that thinks like that doesn't need to be partnered with your platform. Just because they don't take the harm they cause seriously doesnt mean what they do is a "mistake". 
For those of you that keep asking, Ol' boy and his friends hopped into chat really excited to spell out the N-word. Yes thats a mod joining in on the fun. Nothin says Twitch partnership like multiple partners joining together to spell out racial slurs am I right?
Both partners were given a 30 day suspension but get to keep their partnership. Oh and the partnered mod in the chat? Also a convicted sex offender. GuardianCon refuses to let this man near their event but Twitch on the other hand is ok with him having access to children I guess?
Twitch apparently has over 30,000 partners at this point so I don't understand whats so hard about letting some of them go if Twitch is really trying to clean up house. They aren't taking the status or ToS seriously. If they were, why would they admit to being toxic so candidly?
It's honestly exhausting being the one to speak up when that outrage should be coming from higher up. But if I dont speak up and others dont speak up then we are left with people thinking this is acceptable. Its also why I'm hesitant to get too involved in this industry.
People tell me "be careful, the industry is small". So doing the right thing depends on whether a company may not like you or not? I'm actually pretty laid back. I love seeing folks succeed. I just don't want to see people get hurt because of something I coulda spoke up about.
