Holy shit we’re STILL talking about Sarah Sanders’ farm-to-table dining experience last Friday.
I don’t mean any offense by this, but I’m fairly certain that during his service as WH press secretary not enough restauranteurs even knew who Josh Earnest was for it to ever be a problem for him. That difference is something worth reflecting on.
If Trump and his staffers didn’t intrude so constantly into the lives of everyday Americans, didn’t spend their workdays becoming celebrities modeling the deceitful, careless, chaotic behavior he hopes to foster, they might experience less hostility out on the cobblestones.

Kind of hilariously the Associated Press has been sending Erik Wemple factually false statements about its fact check tweet all day.
(The parties *had* found common ground, which is why the senate passed its funding bills with a voice vote late last year. Then Trump panicked and fled the agreement.)

Weiss’s column isn’t a travelogue about why she recommends Australian hotels to other tourists. It’s a disquisition on Australian society commending it as somehow uniquely free of the ills of the modern world, and it’s ignorant of what happened in Australia while she was there.

This also needs context. More people are harmed by a federal government shutdown than federal employees. Native American communities, in particular, are immediately adversely affected. As the shutdown continues, the harms expand and multiply throughout the country’s population.
There are businesses that rely on the federal government as a customer—contractors of all sorts and sizes—and as a landlord—e.g. vendors at national parks. People who own and work for those businesses are harmed by the interruption of their income.
Scientists missing their grant funds, journalists who can’t access public records, inventors who can’t get their patents, entrepreneurs who can’t get business licenses ... This bit of context is, in all likelihood, barely scratching the surface of harms flowing from the shutdown.

I did an entire thread to the Manafort - Devine connection.

It was recently revealed that Devine was sharing polling data with Manafort during the primary. They are all in this together & the media ignores it purposely.

1/ After it was revealed on @maddow that Manafort/Russia was working as far back as 2012 to smear Hillary Clinton it made more sense.

Think about this. Who was going to primary against Pres Obama in 2012? Bernie Sanders
2/ Why didn't #Sanders follow through? My opinion based on the timeline of events & the extensive research I have done on #TadDevine, is that Sanders was told to hold off until 2016 by Devine. We know that Devine was working with #Manafort on the Ukraine election during this time

1-The evening of the 22nd of June, Miss #SarahSanders (#WH press secretary) went for dinner with her family to this little place called ‘The Red Hen’. It seems that she was unceremoniously kicked out &harassed some more all the way across the street to the next restaurant
2-It seems somehow this incident has created some sort of mob-mentality wanting to harass Miss Sanders that has gotten to a point in which she now needs protection.
