I truly can't understand the "Why would you turn away a paying customer" crowd.
I say no to more potential clients than I take on. I fire clients regularly.
Why?
Because they are a pain in the ass or not worth the trouble.

I've turned down jobs doing video production or marketing for politicians I don't agree with or for companies who wanted content I didn't want to produce.

I used to do work for some of the biggest financial services companies in the world, not they made me miserable so I stopped. I didn't just turn away a paying customer I turned away customers paying huge sums.

Damn, right you turn away paying customers.
If I can turn away a politician wanting to pay me 5 figures for a video then Red Hen can turn away Sarah Sanders for a 3 figure dinner.

1640 John Punch was sentenced to a lifetime of chattle slavery for escaping his indentured servitude. The 2 whites who escaped with him were not.
Slavery in America was thus established legally... by white people to enslave black people.

Without this case there is no race based lifetime chattle slavery in the US. Thus every person enslaved info the US was... enslaved by white people.
That is a simple legal fact.

Further, more slaves in the US were BORN into slavery than brought into slavery. By 1850, most US slaves were 3rd, 4th & 5th generation Americans. 400,000 slaves were brought directly to north America, but in 1850 there were nearly 4 million slaves.

Just look back at your life. When you were happy about something, did you ever wonder about the meaning of life? Did you look inwards to see who you are, what life is all about? Did you feel the need to deeply know about the ultimate Truth? No!
When things go smoothly you just blindly follow the same routine with barely any awareness or consciousness. There is nothing to jolt you into awareness from your routine so you continue without any awareness. But when #pain happens, it makes you look at life objectively.
It forces you to look deeper into life, to learn why you react the way you react and seek to uncover the real #mystery of life. #Pain is the key that can open the door to the world of #reality; the choice is yours to open the door or not.

Take a look at the excel sheet in my blog post. The first and most important step is defining your customer segments. These should be people you’re familiar with and therefore have a good sense of the real life problems and pain points.
Most of the ideas I’ve brainstormed are for customer segments that I have direct experience working in. Very risky to build something for a target audience you haven’t lived and breathed.
From that point onwards, whether you start building an MVP or do more research, this is just semantics in my opinion. If you’re fast at building MVPs then launching one *is part of* your research. You start learning from real customers thereafter.

Evolution requires evolving systems to be robust and evolvable. Non-robust phenotypes cannot be found by evolutionary search, non-evolvable phenotypes cannot produce adaptive variation. This poses an apparent paradox as robustness seems to be the opposite of evolvability. /1
