Any one know if the filibuster has ever been challenged in court as unconstitutional? Since the Constitution specifically spells out the places where a supermajority is needed it would seem adding hurdles to majority rule without an amendment would qualify @realDonaldTrump

update. It looks like the matter was never ruled on. The DC court of appeals rejected the lawsuit based on standing not on the merits of the case and the SCOTUS refused to take up the case.

update 2 it appears the DC court is saying the only people that have standing to challenge it is a Senator but that it would conflict with the Speech and Debate Clause
