Weird as it sounds, I could read @DanKaszeta talk about chemical and biological warfare all day - it is clear, precise myth-busting on an issue that triggers constant alarmism and hysteria.
@DanKaszeta The key take-away here is this: Ricin crops up a lot because it easy to produce, but it is very hard to use to kill lots of people. It is more like a knife than a bomb.

Quick reminder that most Tory MPs - not some, most - are deeply misinformed.
Their constituents have tried. They have been sent material constantly over the last two and a half years and regularly emailed, all of it to inform them about basic facts over Brexit. They've ignored them and read the Telegraph.
Echo chamber culture is not just about social media. It is in parliament too.

I really do try with the echo chamber thing, but nearly every day I have to unfollow someone on the other side just because of the rampant conspiracy theory tosh.
There are still lots of Leave voters in my stream, but all of them have either changed their mind, or become so disillusioned by Brexit that they're just mostly in pain or resignation.
Anyone still actively and enthusiastically supporting it has had to go through so many emotional and intellectual contortions that they've start to look quite insane.

🚨 REALITY 1: Apathy
Many tell me that the majority of British people are not against EU citizens and that we are welcome. I used to believe that. Can I still? It’s simple: if this were true, this majority would be with us. Visibly. Noisily. I don’t see nor hear them. 2/
Of course I know that we have amazing friends and champions. Of course I know many of you are. But this is Twitter and we have to recognise its echo chamber problem. Beyond it the situation is dire. I have heard so many stories about apathy I can no longer remember them all. 3/

1. It is worth recalling that the stated aim of the Withdrawal Agreement (WA) was to ensure that nothing (repeat NOTHING) would change for EU27 nationals in the UK (EUinUK) and for UK nationals in the EU (UKinEU).
2. The European Parliament pointed out in December 17 that the Joint Report didn’t do enough to ensure this.
