2-I thought Price needed to resign at the time, b/c he’d been unable to present an argument for the costs of his travel *and* b/c he’d been ineffective. Lotta downside, no upside.
3-*But* I’d heard through multiple direct & indirect credible sources that there was another side of the story: that Price had faced worrying security concerns, and this might put his travel practices in a different light.
4-I wasn’t willing to go on record with any of this, or even necessarily to stake out the view that this was definitely so. But it suggested caution in hanging the guy publicly & finally.
5-So my default view, hearing people with solid sources saying Price had his own story to tell, was wait and see what further investigation showed. A reasonable position, one would think.
6-This is where “Brandt” @UrbanAchievr assured me there was no possibility that further investigation could teach us anything; it was 100% impossible for there to be any more facts.
@UrbanAchievr 7-Bold position: he was willing to put 100% of the credibility of his anonymous Twitter account behind this. Anything less than 100% certainty was impossible. Wait and see was the unreasonable view.
@UrbanAchievr 8-Brandt is a chronic liar - just for a start, he has repeatedly lied to me about the contents of my own Tweets and columns, which I suspect I know better than he does - and refuses to disclose his identity or sources of funding.
@UrbanAchievr 9- He has no track record of ever being a more reliable or good-faith source than, say, Jim Hoft (who is probably a different person). His shtick is, mainly, character assassination against any conservative who dares criticize Donald J. Trump.
@UrbanAchievr 10- Draw your own conclusions as to his motives or benefactors, or whether he had any sources of information of his own. But he was 100% certain no new facts could ever emerge, so I took him up.
@UrbanAchievr 11-Seeing as how I was just waiting for more facts but had heard from credible people that there might be more to the story, while he insisted that 100% of the facts were beyond any possible dispute, I challenged him. Screenshot: 
@UrbanAchievr 12-Now, we have the IG Report. It makes no mention of any security incidents & seems Price did not even try to raise a defense. Only one mention of the question even arises, & it falls back on procedural generalities about not having contacted the proper security channels:
@UrbanAchievr 13-Were my sources wrong? Or did Price, his political career dead, just not bother? I can’t know. But give him this round.
@UrbanAchievr 14- In true Alex Jones/Jim Hoft style, “Brandt” now trumpets this to enhance the credibility of his next scam. Me, I’m done with him & his ceaseless misrepresentations while refusing to disclose to readers who he is and pays him.
