Leaders are often pressured into receiving "input" from executives
They do so to be "team players" and to avoid being seen as "narcissistic"
This encourages laziness amongst executives
A Leader must lean more toward Oligarchy than democracy
Because functioning from a place of fear, corporate tradition, and "making nice" destroys companies, devalues creativity, encourages mediocrity, and wastes time and money
A leader must examine himself and discover whether he does or does not possess the greatest insight into the central problems in the company
If he discovers that he does, but he plays the "democracy game," his fear of standing up will destroy the company
If a leader discovers that he does not possess the greatest insight into the central problems in the company, then wisdom states that he identify and listen to the person who does
Not because it is nice, polite, proper, or democratic
But because it is best for the company
Not everyone on the board should get a "say," just to have a say
A say must be Earned
It is Wise to:
Fire the outraged
Silence the ignorant
Ignore the merely curious
And promote the driven
In many companies, the leader does know best, but hesitates to take the reigns
Because he is afraid of what he will be perceived as
Such a one is not elevating the company by way of his false humility
He is destroying it by way of an unwillingness to become whole
What is The Truth that few are interested in hearing?
It is this:
Most individuals in a company of any valuation are disinterested, timid, uninspired, and fearful
It is the same throughout all of society
Man has been taught to cater to the lowest-common denominator
Governments are erected upon such a principle
Those at the top are taught to "slow down" in order to allow the ones at the bottom to "catch up"
The leash that controls this chariot is Fear
The one who becomes a True Leader first devotes himself to eradicating all fear from every recess of his mind
In becoming free of Fear, he gains full control of his powers
And those he is asked to lead by way of democracy
Now follow him by way of Inspiration
Namaste.
