How many of you know about the sarkaria commission report on karunanidhi ?
There was an allegation that karunanidhi illegally sold 27000 bags of sugar & made huge amounts of money. During the proceedings justice sarkaria asks karunanidhi " what happened to the 27000 bags of sugar ? "
Without winking an eyelid karunanidhi says " ants ate all the sugar "
Crest fallen by the blatant lie ,justice postpones the proceedings by one week. After a week , the Public prosecutor asks karunanidhi " what happens to the 27000 gunny bags in which the sugar was kept ? " karunanidhi replies " termites ate the bags then only ants ate the sugar "
Justice sarkaria was crest fallen & shocked to hear the utter lie. He had no option but to release karunanidhi. Justice said " there was loot of massive proportion, but it was scientific theft"

I am not going to wish anyone on 1st Jan 2019. Why should we celebrate a Christian new year ? We have ugadhi , Tamil New year.
Our way of celebrating new year is to wake up early in Bhrama Muhurtham, do Pooja or abishek , Wear new clothes, get aashirwad from elders, visit temple and have a really spiritual outlook towards the new year

a drink having all tastes bitter, sour, sweet and hot is prepared
Just look at how these desert cults celebrate
whole night get drunk dance ,no gender discrimination
pelvic thrusts called as dance, eat neck full
Yell like four legged animals in streets
get into drunken brawl

and on a new year morning go to bed and sleep wakeup we hangover

For the last 24 hours I've been texting & calling with refugees in Libya. 500 are apparently stuck in a Tripoli prison w/o food & water after heavy fighting broke out two days ago. They say their guards ran away, leaving them alone.
These refugees are men, women & children. They tried to cross the Mediterranean earlier this year, but were found by Italian boats, who turned them over to the EU-backed Libyan coastguard, who put them in prison. The conditions were already terrible before the fighting started.
Oh the phone earlier I could hear children crying & what sounded like bombing in the distance. The refugees say everyone's incredibly frightened. "We hear machine guns, tanks, big bombs, last night from the roof it was all fire."

Trump may be awful, but our treatment of immigrant families has been horrendous for years, Democrats & Republicans can't erase their guilt by pretending Trump is responsible for America's crimes.
2/x We need to look at two separate but related things. Detention of children and separation of families. Both happened under Obama and Bush. And both are closely linked to the deportation machine that grew exponentially under Obama.
