JUST IN: As a result of @weareoversight's effort, the 1999 special master's report looking into possible leaks from the independent counsel's office has been made public by NARA, although redactions remain. documentcloud.org/documents/4781…

The section on article 20 is the only one containing redactions, so it remains unclear who was being discussed here, but based on when Kavanaugh worked for Starr and according to a prior order from the judge who ordered the release, it is not Kavanaugh.
Also: Kavanaugh is not mentioned in the special master's report by name.

This is so weird. The White House attacks the request to unseal the special master's report ... because Senate Democrats supported unsealing it ... in a statement that notes that DOJ did not oppose unsealing it.
