In March, we filed complaints with DOJ & OGE alleging Cohen made a loan to Trump for which he expected to be reimbursed after making the Stormy Daniels payment. If it was a loan, Trump seemingly violated federal law by failing to disclose the liability. citizensforethics.org/press-release/…

Here's why all this matters: when President Trump and Rudy Giuliani say that Michael Cohen fronted the money and Trump personally paid him back so nothing illegal happened, they are actually apparently telling you how something illegal happened.
