You didn't seem to take issue when the Obama Administration was reviewing taking away clearances. Democrats were salivating about taking away clearances from those no longer in government positions. Clapper wanted to review clearances of 5 MILLION people! Where was your voice?
Clapper’s directive indicates that the Obama administration has not only begun to view the huge number of clearances as a security risk, but a serious budgetary stress. The federal government spends about $1 billion a year on background checks, according to the GAO.
Included on Clapper’s list of “highest-risk” groups worthy of frequent reinvestigation: “Privileged Users, or other information technology specialists involved with information sharing activities.” Privileged users? Isn't that people like you John?

It wasn't a problem then @JohnBrenna, but suddenly, when it comes to YOUR clearance it is a major problem. You sir, targeted individuals, to include Congress with your spying, you also collected on individual Americans. You were a disaster for presidents Clinton, Bush, & Obama!
